I do not like the idea of Government or anyone else censoring what is on the net. However, I am not apposed to some guidelines being put in place that will funnel the flow of information in a more targeted manner. In other words, if all porn sites were given .xxx I would not be apposed. I really hate doing a search and getting information of all kinds that has nothing to do with my focus. Just a thought. This a powerful and thought provoking peice. All I could add to this is: I have lived almost my entire life without TV, and most of it without movies and now I no longer watch movies. I have recently started blogging and have found it both rewarding and overwhelming. Rewarding: due to some of the remarkable people I've met and inspired by the work they do. It hones my writer's craft. And overwhelming because I can be exposed to more info in 10 minutes that I could offline in an hour, Well...let me correct that. It's not JUST information it's a certain type of brain stimulation that can be too much after awhile. It's also that sense for me that this is NOT the real world. I need to always remember what the real dirt-in-my-hands world is. Like trees, and hugs from friends and sunsets.....the earth. I balance internet by spending a lot of time in nature, doing nature photography, doing other projects like gardening, crafts, writing, composing music, etc. WOW!!!
